What is the difference between a floating frame and a picture frame?
A floating frame leaves a slim shadow gap around the artwork, so the print appears to float inside the frame – the classic gallery look for canvas, metal and wood. A picture frame overlaps the edge of the print, the traditional way to frame art. Box frames have a deeper, squared profile.
Can I see the frame up close before ordering?
Yes. Every frame in the designer has real close-up photos of the moulding, many from three angles, so you can see the exact color, finish and profile.
Which frames can I choose from?
Floating frames, picture frames and box frames in black, white, silver, champagne, gold, antique gold, pewter, charcoal, walnut, oak and natural wood – including a wide floating frame. Every frame is handcrafted to order, and the designer shows it around your own photo.
How are your prints and frames made?
Every piece is made to order. Your photo is printed with archival inks on the material you choose, and frames are cut, joined and assembled by hand, then finished ready to hang.
What size can I order?
Any size you need, in inches, from 8" up to 96" depending on the material. The designer shows the largest size available for each material and adjusts automatically.
Will my photo look sharp at a large size?
The designer checks the resolution of your photo for the size you pick and shows a quality badge (Great, Good, Fair or Low). For large prints, upload the original full-size photo from your phone or camera. If a photo is too small for the size you chose, we let you know before checkout.
Do prints arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Canvas, framed pieces, metal and acrylic prints arrive with their hanging system installed. Rolled canvas and rolled prints ship in a protective tube for framing or stretching locally.
Can I see how it will look on my wall?
Yes. Tap "On wall" in the designer to preview your art at its true size in a real room, with the frame and material you chose.
What if something arrives damaged?
Every order is packed in protective, gallery-grade packaging. If anything arrives damaged or defective, contact us and we will replace it at no cost.
